Sanitation & Recycling

The Village of Gratis contracts with, Rumpke, an outside waste management company for solid waste collection.  We will no longer offer recycling.  Everyone within the community is required to have garbage collection.  This service is billed along with your water/sewer.  The cost per month is $22.00.

Most trash and debris, when properly bundled and/or contained properly, can be disposed of at curbside with your regular garbage service days. If assistance is needed or you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. 

Any additional trash cans needed, will need to be ordered by the resident directly with Rumpke.

Preble County has a community drop box program where you may take your recycling.
